Like a lot of moms I struggle to enjoy motherhood. The daily meltdowns and power struggles on top of everyday life really suck any joy out of this experience. I am left feeling like a failure and far from the picture perfect view of motherhood.
I am desperate to find joy in the midst of my parenting challenges. I’m starting this challenge on April 19, 2015, for 21 days leading up to Mother’s day. And I’m challenging you to join this journey with me! To find joy in the midst of challenging circumstances, everyday moments and the mess of motherhood. I guarantee that if you look for joy in the next 21 days you will be able to change your outlook on your life as a mom.

This challenge isn’t about changing your life or trying to do anything different. Sometimes we think that we can CREATE more joy in life by just making a few changes.
This challenge is about taking your everyday life, with all of challenges and messes and SEEing joy in your life. It’s already there.
This is about cultivating joy. The word cultivate according to dictionary.com means to try to acquire or develop and to apply oneself to improving or developing (one’s mind or manners). So that’s what we’re going to do, we are going to develop and acquire JOY.
I’m believing right alongside of you that at the end of this journey for Mother’s Day 2015 my heart is going to be so full of JOY in life. Full of joy for my family and for my little one aka Miss Sensory. So full of joy right in the midst of the toughest circumstances I have ever faced in life. If right now in your life you are feeling a lack of joy, you are struggling to see joy in the mundane, in the struggle of everyday life, this is for you as much as it is for me.
